The city provides a forum for its citizens to tell each other their stories after the day’s work is done. Public events - festivals, rituals, parades, performances and exhibitions are an essential part of civic life. How can artists, producers and designers contribute to the scenography of the city to achieve a vibrant and sustainable street life at night whilst at the same time balancing the need for low energy consumption?
