New lighting installations from some of Australia’s most innovative artists and designers will be on show at Art Light at the University of Technology Sydney.

The exhibition promises to showcase an eclectic mix of experimental lighting installations, products and interactive environments, providing maximum visual impact with minimum energy consumption.

No traditional incandescent light sources will be allowed, just efficient discharge lamps or LEDs and everything will be recyclable.

A key component of the inaugural Smart Light Sydney, Art Light is free and will be until 10.00pm daily, 26 May to 14 June 2009.
