Human Tiles
Carole Purnelle and Nuno Maya (Portugal)
Human Tiles was an interactive installation and allowed the public to play and influence the amazing light display.
Human Tiles used video projectors, the artists covered the building façade with virtual tiles. The tiles were made of people’s clothes colours and movements, which were video captured in real time and projected to create a spectacular effect of animated patterns.
What's Smart?
The installation allowed public interaction, creating a constantly changing canvas of light, colour and movement.
