Flynn's work HORIZON is a light wall installation that invites user interaction.
Instead of purely programmed effects, it invites visitors to interact and modify the patterns of light.
Visitors to 72 Erskine Street are invited to use the touch screen to modify and arrange the colours of light as they see fit. It can be used to recreate sky patterns or random light effects.
9 horizontal lines of light create a dynamic and ever changing light installation. The mirrored stage surface in front of the piece adds depth by reflecting the light effects and gives the perception of reflecting water.
What's Smart?
Horizon uses modern technologies of LED light sources and an LCD touch screen to create a dynamic and user friendly installation. It consumes minimal energy and has been designed to be disassembled and stored for future events.
