Jewel Box of Light
During the day sunlight pours through the windows of Garrison Church in The Rocks, creating a kaleidoscope of light patterns throughout the pews and aisles.
Making the church glow from within at night, will recreate this "Jewel Box of Light". It will reveal the intricate detailing of the rich and imposing stained glass windows and produce a glorious blaze of colour onto the pavement around the church.
What’s Smart?
The energy consumption for the complete installation is approximately 2,500W, less than half the energy usually required to light Garrison Church. Uses energy efficient metal halide lamps and LED flood lights.
