Make your vote count with the Smart Light Sydney People’s Choice Award
Get behind your favourite light art installation from the 2009 Smart Light Sydney Light Walk and vote now in the 702 ABC Sydney People’s Choice award.
Was it Warren Langley’s towering vase of flowers Vessel of (horti) Cultural Plenty that did it for you? Brian Eno’s spectacular light show on the Sydney Opera House Sails? The interactive fun of Human Tiles by Portuguese artists Nuno Maya and Carole Purnelle? Or perhaps the simple beauty of Tim Carr’s pink treatment of the Moore Steps, Nothing Left to Guess?
Whatever your favourite piece was, make your vote count with the Smart Light Sydney 702 ABC Sydney People’s Choice Award.
Voting is simple, visit www.smartlightsydney.mobi on your computer or mobile phone and click the ‘Vote’ button. The Light Walk features 25 innovative and dynamic light art installations on a free walk through Circular Quay, The Rocks, Observatory Hill and Sydney Opera House. Voting closes on Wednesday 10 June and the winning installation will be announced that evening.
Smart Light Sydney is a major component of Vivid Sydney, a unique new public festival transforming the city into a living canvas of music and light from 26 May – 14 June 2009.
Vivid Sydney is one of five anchor events in the first ever NSW Master Events Calendar created by Events NSW on behalf of the NSW Government.
